VSE Joint Venture Wins $263M Logistics Support Services Task Order
VSE and CB&I joint venture will provide services to the Fort Benning Logistics Readiness Center
ALEXANDRIA, Va.-- VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC) announced that VS2, LLC, a joint venture between VSE and CB&I Federal Services, was recently awarded a Logistics Support Services task order under the U.S. Army’s Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) Program to support base operations and logistics at Fort Benning, Georgia. This task order has a base year, four one-year options, and one six-month option. The total potential value of the task order is $263M, with VSE’s potential value to be approximately $110M, assuming all options are exercised.
Under this task order the VS2 Team will provide on-site contractor logistics support at Fort Benning. The services provided include material maintenance, supply services, ammunition services, transportation, and associated logistics analysis and management functions. The installation supports more than 120,000 active-duty military, family members, reserve component soldiers, retirees, and civilian employees and is home to the Maneuver Center of Excellence, the Armor and Infantry schools, and their subordinate units.
