VSE Corp Wins $12M in USMC Semitrailer Maintenance Contracts

VSE will support the Marine Depot Maintenance Command in Heavy Equipment Transport

ALEXANDRIA, Va.-- VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC) was recently awarded two Firm Fixed Price (FFP)/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to support the Marine Corps Logistics Command in Albany, GA. Both contracts have a period of performance that includes a one-year base and four one-year options with a total combined value of $11,802,158.

Under both contracts, VSE will support the Marine Depot Maintenance Command (MDMC) in the rebuild effort of approximately 170 40-ton payload, three-axle Medium Heavy Equipment Transporters (MHET) semitrailers and 230 5,000-gallon fuel dispensing semitrailers. VSE will restore the semitrailers to a serviceable and issuable condition in appearance, performance and life expectancy. In addition to the refurbishment and reset work, VSE will apply a corrosion prevention coating that will reduce lifecycle costs and increase sustainability of the semitrailers while in the field. VSE plans to perform work under this contract in multiple locations across the United States.
