| Derivative Instruments and Hedging Activities | Derivative Instruments and Hedging Activities The Company is party to fixed interest rate swap instruments that are designated and accounted for as cash flow hedges to manage risks associated with interest rate fluctuations on a portion of the Company's floating rate debt. The Company's derivative instruments designated as cash flow hedges as of December 31, 2025 were (in thousands):
These derivative instruments are recorded on the consolidated balance sheets at fair value. Unrealized changes in the fair value on cash flow hedges are recognized in other comprehensive (loss) income and the amounts are reclassified from accumulated other comprehensive income into earnings in a manner that matches the timing of the earnings impact of the hedged transactions. For the years ended December 31, 2025, 2024, and 2023, the Company reclassified $1.9 million, $4.3 million, and $3.8 million, respectively, from accumulated other comprehensive income to interest expense, net. The Company estimates that it will reclassify $0.3 million of unrealized gains from accumulated other comprehensive income into earnings in the twelve months following December 31, 2025.
