G&B Solutions Awarded Contract with Earth Resources Technology, Inc. (ERT) to Support the NOAALink Program - a $2.5B Multiple Contract Award
RESTON, Va.-- G&B Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of VSE Corporation (NASDAQ:VSEC), is pleased to announce an award as a major subcontractor to Earth Resources Technology, Inc. (ERT), in support of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) NOAALink Program to provide information technology, product and service solutions. ERT was one of five small businesses to receive this multiple award contract with a ceiling value of $2.5 billion over 10 years.
G&B, a recognized leader with CIO Advisory Services, Enterprise Architecture and Business Transformation-- will provide ERT and NOAA with expertise in IT Governance and Service Operations, specifically supporting the areas of business management, customer care, infrastructure support, and security services.
NOAA provides weather and water forecasts, data to facilitate search and rescue, climate change information, environmental images, coastal maps, and ecosystems management services to the nation. The NOAA Link contract provides a vehicle to enable the NOAA IT organization to work with industry to improve IT service delivery and support via: (1) establishing secure, enterprise-wide IT standardized solutions; (2) enabling the NOAA mission; (3) maximizing agility and innovation in IT service delivery; (4) delivering cost-effective IT solutions; (5) fostering strategic partnerships; and (6) creating effective IT governance.
