Energetics and MELEMAX Win $300M Blanket Purchase Agreement Award

Contract awarded for Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration Support Services

ALEXANDRIA, Va.-- VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC) reported today that subsidiary, Energetics Incorporated, as part of the MELEMAX Team, has been selected for a multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) from the Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) for Technical, Programmatic, and Engineering Support Services. The MELEMAX Team, led by Mele Associates, comprises select companies with a proven record of quality performance for DOE/NNSA. Along with the other winning teams, this BPA has a five-year period of performance and a ceiling of $300 million for the MELEMAX Team.

The BPA may be used by all offices within DOE and NNSA, including all DOE/NNSA field offices and facilities throughout the complex. As part of the contractor teaming agreement with Mele Associates, Energetics will have the opportunity to lead tasks, as appropriate, over the course of the contract. The scope of work covers support for a range of areas including:

  • Program Management
  • Nuclear Engineering Subject Matter Expertise and Analysis
  • Training
  • Security Management
  • Weapons Data Access System Programs
  • Emergency Operations (Domestic and International)
  • Aviation Operations
  • Nuclear Nonproliferation
  • Environmental Management
