Energetics Incorporated Selected to Support NIST in Strategic Measurement Assessments
COLUMBIA, Md.-- VSE Corporation’s wholly owned subsidiary, Energetics Incorporated, has won a five-year, $5 million contract to support the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in assessing critical U.S. measurement needs. Work under the contract supports NIST’s mission to promote U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by anticipating the nation’s evolving needs in measurement science, standards, and technology.
The work will be managed by Joan Pellegrino, Vice President of Science and Technology. Ms. Pellegrino managed the previous five-year NIST support contract and has worked on NIST projects for the past 10 years. Nexight Group LLC of Silver Spring, Md., will support Energetics under the contract.
