ALEXANDRIA, Va.-- VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC) reported today several awards received from October 1, 2015 to date totaling approximately fifty-nine million dollars ($59M). The recent awards include:

Egyptian Navy In-Country Technical Assistance and Support
VSE will provide an In-Country Technical Assist Team (ICTAT) and Continental United States (CONUS) Project Management Team to provide technical, logistics, training, facilities and administrative support to the Egyptian Navy (EN) Follow-On Technical Support (FOTS) Program for the former Perry Class FFGs. This is a delivery order under our Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Naval Ship Transfer and Repair (N*STAR) contract through the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) International Fleet Support Program. Our ICTAT and CONUS teams provide support to the Egyptian Navy and NAVSEA PMS 326 under this delivery order, which has a period of performance of 13 months and total value of $37M.

Japan Ministry of Defense Material Procurement
VSE will procure sets of cabling and support equipment for the Japan Ministry of Defense (JAMOD). We will also provide qualified and experienced program management support for the purpose of maintaining and managing the project, which is under our NAVSEA FMS N*STAR prime contract. This effort has a period of performance of 15 months and a total value of $5.7M.

Energetics Oak Ridge National Laboratories Subcontract
Energetics Incorporated, a subsidiary of VSE Corporation, was awarded a Basic Order Agreement (BOA) from U-T Battelle, LLC for support to the U.S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Energetics will be providing technical, analytical and programmatic assistance to ORNL for their efforts in the area of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability, International Affairs, and Energy Policy and Systems Analysis. This BOA is a five year award with a ceiling of $10M. This award allows Energetics to continue to support Oak Ridge National Laboratory in these work areas.

Akimeka Defense Health Agency Global Support Center Subcontract
Akimeka, LLC, a subsidiary of VSE Corporation, was awarded a subcontract by the successful incumbent offeror on the recompete of their contract to operate and maintain the government-owned, contractor-operated Global Service Center for the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Health Information Technology Directorate. Under this subcontract Akimeka provides service desk, infrastructure and security services for DHA users and customers world-wide. The contract has a base period of one year plus four one-year options, and a total value of $6.3M for Akimeka.
