VSE Corporation Selected as TACOM TS3 Prime

VSE will compete for task orders under two IDIQ contracts worth up to $1.7 billion

ALEXANDRIA, Va.-- VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC) announced today that it has been selected as one of 20 prime contractors for the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command’s (TACOM) Strategic Services Solutions (TS3) Equipment Related Services (ERS) contract. The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a maximum potential value of $1.1 billion and an eight-year period of performance if all options are exercised. VSE also was named one of 19 prime awardees on the TACOM TS3 Research and Development (R&D) IDIQ contract, which has a maximum potential value of $634 million and an eight-year period of performance if all options are exercised.

The combination of these contracts will allow VSE to compete for task orders in the areas of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), equipment modification, equipment installation, research and development, engineering, and technical representative services to keep vehicles, machines, systems and other equipment functioning and in working order. The task orders will be issued by the Army Contracting Command to meet the requirements of various Army command centers including the Program Executive Offices for Combat Support & Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS) and Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS), U.S. Army Tank-Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC), Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) and the TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) to include its depots and arsenals.

"VSE’s legacy is built on providing superior MRO services to our federal customers and we are proud of our continued support to TACOM,” said Federal Services Group President JR Brown. “Our top priority is keeping our customer’s mission critical equipment at their peak operational readiness throughout its lifecycle. We look forward to utilizing our experience and capabilities to compete for task orders under both of these contracts.”
