Dayton T. Brown and VSE Corporation Awarded Five Year Contract from Naval Air Systems Command
ALEXANDRIA, Va.-- Naval Air Systems Command has awarded a five-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to the team of Dayton T. Brown and VSE Corporation to support the Naval Air Warfare Center’s Aircraft Prototype Facility (APF). The stated goal is to provide Research Development Test and Evaluation support services to fulfill the mission of the APF.
Dayton T. Brown, a highly regarded Test and Engineering facility located in Long Island, New York, will be supported by VSE Corporation’s significant field engineering and systems modernization capabilities.
The primary mission of the APF is to support warfighter needs around the world through the development of innovative and rapid prototyping systems engineering solutions. Dayton T. Brown/VSE will be engaged in providing integration, analysis, assessment and testing services throughout the term of the contract. Projects expected to be contained within the Aircraft Prototype Facility will be of high priority to the Nation, and will require rapid collection of required material and resources.

Work will be performed at NAVAIR’S Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division in Patuxent River, MD, and at contractor facilities in New York and Virginia. The total aggregate amount of this multiple award contract is $219,875,168.
