VSE Corp Wins $14M Base Operations and Logistics Contract

VSE will provide contractor logistics support at Red River Army Depot

ALEXANDRIA, Va.-- VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC) was recently awarded a Time and Materials (T&M)/Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task order to support base operations and logistics at Red River Army Depot (RRAD) under the Field Installation Readiness Support Team (FIRST) contract. This task order has a one-year base period valued at $5.4 million and two option periods with a total contract value of $14.3 million.

Under this task order, the VSE Team will provide on-site contractor logistics support at RRAD, including facilities maintenance, base operations, installation logistical support, supply technician, clerical support functions, and administrative support functions. ProSource Technology, Inc., a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, is VSE’s primary partner on this task order. RRAD is a military heavy industrial operational installation that conducts Ground Combat, Tactical and Non-Tactical Systems Sustainment Maintenance operations, depot-level maintenance and related support services worldwide in support of the war fighter.

“VSE’s wide range of experience makes us uniquely qualified to be the Army’s best value partner on this effort,” said Donnelle Moten, Federal Group President. “We have carefully selected a small business partner whose corporate experience, skill, and knowledge in facility operations and associated support elements complement our skills and expertise. Our combined experience includes past and ongoing base operations, depot level projects, and installation logistical support activities that will ensure the success of our efforts at RRAD.”
