Crystal R. Williams Joins VSE as Corporate Vice President - Contracts

ALEXANDRIA, Va.-- VSE Corporation (NASDAQ GM:VSEC) announced today that Crystal R. Williams has joined the company as Corporate Vice President - Contracts effective December 1, 2008. She will report to VSE CEO/President/COO Maurice A. Gauthier.

Prior to joining VSE, Ms. Williams was Contracts Director for the North American Public Sector at Computer Sciences Corporation. She began her CSC career in 1994. Prior to joining CSC, Ms. Williams provided contract administration services at ICF Kaiser International and at Dynamic Concepts Inc. Ms. Williams is a graduate George Mason University (B.S., Public Administration, 1986) and has earned continuing education credits in contracts and marketing at the American Graduate University and at George Mason University, Continuing Education.

Mr. Gauthier said, "Crystal Williams joins our leadership team with over 22 years of Acquisition Management experience as a respected government contracts executive. She is highly regarded in our industry as an effective contracts director, manager, and administrator. I am very pleased that the Board approved my nomination of Ms. Williams as our Corporate Vice President - Contracts, and I look forward to working with her as we execute our strategic plan to develop VSE marketing and growth in the years ahead."
