G&B Vice President Named New GITEC Member
Prestigious Council Drives Direction and Future of Information Technology
ALEXANDRIA, Va.-- G&B Solutions, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of VSE Corporation (NASDAQ GS: VSEC), announced the recent appointment of Vice President of Business Development Jackie Everett to the Government Information Technology Executive Council (GITEC) Executive Advisory Committee. GITEC is a council of Senior Level Government Executives organized to support the delivery of high quality and cost-effective Information Technology (IT) services.
The council was founded in 1966 through a White House memorandum as an open forum to share and collaborate on Information Technology (IT) ideas. Since that time, GITEC has organized and structured an impressive array of initiatives to focus on vital and timely issues affecting the direction and future of IT, including executive seminars, workgroups/committees, conferences, and summits.
Ms. Everett joined G&B in late 2009, having previously worked for SI International as Vice President of Business Development and Deputy Chief Marketing Officer. Ms. Everett has held numerous leadership roles within the federal industry, to include Vice President at BAE Systems; and Director of Business Development at Computer Sciences Corporation.
