ALEXANDRIA, Va.-- VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC) hosted the 2nd Annual VSE Small Business Supplier of Choice awards recently. The ceremony honored six small business teaming partners, who have made significant contributions to company revenue, and the overall quality of support to Federal customers. Applicants were judged on quality and delivery performance, product support and customer service.

Federal Division – Prototype Production, Inc. (PPI) is a product development and manufacturing group, providing in-house engineering, production assembly, quality assurance, packaging and shipping operations. “We recognize PPI for the outstanding work they have performed fabricating and assembling all of the machined components required for the completion of the DVE-FOS Vehicle Integration Kits,” said Federal Group President Tom Dacus. “PPI has demonstrated nothing but integrity, quality and commitment to VSE and our customer.”

Energetics Division – BCS, Incorporated is a management consulting firm located in Laurel, MD, specializes in energy and environment, national security, health and international development. "Energetics is extremely pleased to partner with BCS, Incorporated on contracts supporting the DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy,” said Energetics President Nancy Margolis. “BCS has proven their ability to provide exceptional service, innovation, and high product quality to our customers, and we look forward to continued success."

G&B Division – Universal Consulting Services, Inc., an 8(a) certified, woman-owned, small disadvantaged business providing technical, functional, and program management consulting services to government agencies and installations worldwide. “UCS was selected based on their outstanding work ethic, knowledge and interpersonal skills while supporting our FinCEN customer,” said G&B Solutions President Denise Manning.
