U.S. Trade and Development Agency to Host Business Briefing for Civil Nuclear Power Development in Vietnam
September 23 Event Showcases Opportunities for U.S. Companies
ALEXANDRIA, Va.--
Energetics Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of VSE Corporation (Nasdaq: VSEC) reported today that the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is hosting a delegation from Vietnam on a visit to Washington, DC to encourage partnerships with U.S. businesses that can participate in and support Vietnam's civil nuclear power development plans. The delegation is led by Electricity of Vietnam and is comprised of senior leaders from Vietnam's Office of the Government, National Assembly, Ministry of International Trade, Ministry of Planning and Investment, and Ninh Thuan Province People's Committee. As part of the visit, USTDA is sponsoring a Business Briefing on September 23, 2008, for U.S. companies to learn more about Vietnam's construction plans, investment opportunities, and regulatory framework for civil nuclear energy. U.S. companies with expertise in the commercial nuclear power industry are invited to participate in this one-day business briefing to:
