Retired executive and certified public accountant. From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Lafond was Washington Area Managing Partner, Pricewaterhouse-Coopers LLP. He previously served in various leadership positions at Coopers & Lybrand (1964 to 1998). He is also a director of WGL Holdings, Inc. He has been a director of VSE since 2003.

Lieutenant General, U.S. Army Reserve (Ret.), formerly Chief, Army Reserve and Commanding General, United States Army Reserve Command and the Command's Deputy Commanding General. Prior to his assignment to the Army Reserve Command, LTG Stultz served as the Commanding General of the 143rd Transportation Command, which provides command and control to twelve (12) units in the southeast United States. LTG Stultz entered active duty in 1974, after receiving his commission from the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Davidson College, Davidson, North Carolina. After leaving active duty in 1979, LTG Stultz worked at Proctor and Gamble for 28 years as operations manager, continuing his service to the United States Army Reserve as a Citizen-Soldier.

Mark E. Ferguson

Admiral Ferguson retired from the U.S. Navy in July 2016, after concurrently serving as Commander of the U.S. Naval Forces Europe and U.S. Naval Forces Africa, as well as Commander of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command, Naples, Italy. Admiral Ferguson was responsible for the overall command, operational control, and coordination of U.S. naval forces in the waters bordering the coasts of Europe and Africa, including the Baltic, Mediterranean and Black Seas. Admiral Ferguson previously served as Vice Chief of Naval Operations, where he was responsible for the global business operations, personnel and leadership development, and execution of the Navy’s annual budget. In his thirty-eight year naval career, Admiral Ferguson specialized in cyber defense, congressional and regulatory affairs, strategic planning, and personnel and operations management. He is a nuclear-trained surface warfare officer and holds a master’s degree in computer science from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Ralph E. Eberhart

General, U.S. Air Force (Ret.), formerly Commander-in-Chief, North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command. General Eberhart retired from the Air Force in 2005 after 36 years of service. He was then appointed and continues to serve as President of the Armed Forces Benefit Association (AFBA) and as Chairman of its related enterprises: 5Star Bank, 5Star Life Insurance Company, AFBA 5Star Investment Management Company, and AFBA 5Star Fund, Inc. He is also a director of Rockwell Collins, Inc. He has been a director of VSE since 2007.
